The list of Happiness.

This post was inspired by Abi.

Things have been a bit doom and gloom recently. Lack of sleep, teething and tantrums, a disastrous marriage (I jest, I'm currently in the process of trying to fix it so don't go all hand on the hip, tuttin' at me) so I thought I'd remind myself of all the wonderful things I sometimes forget to be grateful for.

My family. They infuriate me sometimes a lot of the time but I love the bones of those fools. The bones I tell you. The love and support they show for Lil and I is just overwhelming, they don't judge and they don't interfere. They let us be and hover in the background in case I need propping up. Bloody love them.

My friends. Amazing. All of them.

The little tantrum throwing monster that used to live in my belly. The love of my life. She breaks my heart every time I look at her but by god does she make me the happiest person alive. When she isn't throwing a massive hissy fit.

Seasons. They come and go and with each one that arrives, I smile a different smile. Here is to a wonderful Spring.

Nap time. I wish I could nap in the day. But I use the time that she does to be calm and peaceful (and watch The Kardashians - don't judge me), not do chores. We all deserve to switch off every now and then.

Peanut butter M&M's. Ain't that the truth.

Flowers. Bitch gotta buy her own. My favourites? Daffodils and white tulips: simple but effective.

Twitter. The Twitter love I feel is crazy. I've met some amazing people on there and they've all turned in to friends (see above).

Sunshine. Without it I'd be a grouch 24/7.

Food. I'm SOOOOOO grateful for food. Foody food sexy food.

Writing. It makes me happy. Free therapy. What's not to like about THAT.

My silly little list of things that make me happy.

What makes you happy?

Hello.

I haven't written anything for a week, I've been trying to forget about writing for a while seeings as it got me into a spot of bother not long ago (the bother, in question, simply wasn't worth the stress but I was hurt and I guess I still am) but writing is very therapeutic for me. I could just write in a journal but my blog isn't only for you to read, it's for me to look back on and something for Lil to read when she's old enough. And anyway, why the hell shouldn't I write about the trials and tribulations of motherhood? If you don't like what you read, why the hell are you reading it?

I've had so much support and love from you all since the beginning, but especially after my last post, it's pretty overwhelming and I caught myself in a bit of a tearful mess a few times. It amazes me how spiteful people can be but on the flip side, how kind and caring and thoughtful and supportive people can be. People I've never even met.

So I'm gonna keep writing through the mess that is my life at the moment and suck up all the good times Lil and I have every day, even if she is teething like a you know what right now.

I love you all xxxxxxx

What a week. Hang on, it's Tuesday...

It feels like Friday already.

Seeings as I started this blog full of honesty, wearing my heart on my sleeve, I shall continue to do so. I share my life with you, so I'm going to keep on sharing.

Things are pretty crappy at the moment. My husband and I have been going through a rough patch for, well, pretty much most of the last year or so. We're both to blame. We've both done wrong. We both tried to fix it.

Unfortunately it just hasn't worked out for us so for now Lil and I will be staying at my Mums and he shall see her as much as he wants to. I must clarify, I will never keep him from seeing her. People find ways to twist words so I just want you all to be clear.

Will we find a way to make it work? Maybe. Maybe not. Right now I need to clear my head.

What hasn't helped the already heavy strain on our relationship is malicious comments with regards to my mothering of our daughter, not by him, by someone in his family. It's hard enough being a Mother without people sticking their nose in to something they have no experience in. I feel sad that my blog has been taken out of context and has been used against me and I'm deeply upset I've been accused of being a 'bad mother'.

So I've decided to take a break from writing about my journey as a mother. Maybe I should have started writing anonymously. My aim was always to be honest. My friends and close family know that I often say things in jest and I rarely mean them. Maybe I'll start a new blog, anonymously, so nobody can judge me for the things I say. Maybe I just won't bother. What I will continue to do is be a good mother for my daughter.

I hope you've all enjoyed my, our, journey. I want to thank you all for your support over the past year. You've all inspired me to continue my journey honestly. I will be back. Next week, next month, next year. I'm not sure. But for now I need to keep Lilian's world a happy one. She is my priority, she is my life.

Take care everyone.

See you soon xxxxx
